The event brought together John Deere’s marine dealer network for product training and direct engagement with the manufacturer’s engineering, manufacturing, and support operations.

A central focus of the meeting was hands-on training on John Deere’s newest marine engines, the JD14 and JD18. In addition to the product training, Scarano Marine toured four John Deere facilities during the visit: Waterloo Works in Waterloo, Iowa, where John Deere engines are built; the Tractor Operations factory in Waterloo; Davenport Works in Davenport, Iowa; and the Parts Distribution Center in Milan, Illinois. The tours offered a firsthand view of how John Deere engines are manufactured, assembled, and supported through the parts network.
