RMCI Sponsors IA Renewal Course at APSCON 2026

Founder and CEO of RMCI Inc., Kenneth Speaks, explains how an effective HUMS can identify emerging failures weeks, even months before other warning indicators.

RMCI hosted the Inspection Authority (IA) Renewal Course at the 2026 Airborne Public Safety Association Conference (APSCON).

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — RMCI Inc, a global leader in advanced Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS), hosted the Inspection Authority (IA) Renewal Course at the 2026 Airborne Public Safety Association Conference (APSCON). Inspecting Authority professionals are highly qualified aviation maintenance experts responsible for evaluating airworthiness and approving major inspection and repairs of aircraft. RMCI’s founder Kenneth Speaks delivered a specialized lecture to aviation maintenance professionals from across the United States regarding maintenance benefits using an effective HUMS.

For public safety operations, aircraft availability is mission critical. Equipping aircraft with advanced HUMS technology such as RMCI’s Expandable Rotorcraft Diagnostics System (XRDS), operators are investing in proactive maintenance capabilities that help ensure aircraft are ready to respond to the mission without delay.

“Public safety operators require technology they can trust in the most demanding environments,” said Mr. Speaks. By analyzing vibration and other health indicators, HUMS enhances safety, increases aircraft availability, and supports proactive maintenance decisions.

An effective HUMS helps prevent incidents such as AOG and precautionary landings, or other incidents related to the health of the aircraft. Speaks ended the lecture by commenting “Although HUMS technology has improved: not all HUMS are equal”.
