UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced Jeremy Hunt as the new Chancellor of the Exchequer after sacking Kwasi Kwarteng.
In a press conference, she also announced a U-turn on corporation tax in order to “reassure the markets of our fiscal discipline”.
