This wine bar is the third part of a larger wine ecosystem, collectively called “Wines of Charleston” and is currently seeking outside investment.

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, February 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Con Altura is a new wine bar concept coming to Buenos Aires.
To date, its executive team is actively courting outside investment to initiate operations.
After eighteen months of on-the-ground surveillance of Argentina and its wine-producing regions such as Mendoza, its owners are negotiating between several different locations to begin operations in the Capital Federal of Buenos Aires. Attention for the project has generated interest from winemakers and wine executives in the United States, Argentina, (and in particular) France and the Benelux regions. Via Con Altura’s Substack, they are providing the means for investors to support their bootstrapping efforts through crowdfunding; they are also offering SAFEs through their capital raise.
Con Altura is a service-focused offering to its clientele. Instead of the traditional wine bar headed by a sommelier, this will be the rare one where none of the principals involved have any certifications in oenology. The focus will be to do what other wine bars tend not to do: focus strictly on offering classic varietals, while eschewing the need for satisfying adventuresome palates. Additionally, there will be a number of subtle innovations in service. The location will also serve as a repository for fine and rare imported wines (such as an en primeur vintage from Chateau Palmer) to be sold on consignment.
Con Altura is the third part of a larger wine-fuelled ecosystem collectively called “Wines of Charleston”.
