SmartSearch announces that Erik Enright, former CEO of the Surefire business unit following the 2021 acquisition of Top of Mind Networks by Black Knight, was appointed CEO of SmartSearch on Sept. 1, 2022.

Enright, recognized as a leader in the Northeast Ohio business community "Top 40 under 40", has always put the customer first when building products and businesses. Early in his career, Enright developed a broad skill set while helping to grow and scale OEConnection from four people to over 250 employees. It was at OEConnection where he learned the power of an ecosystem, pioneering eCommerce, Order Management, and Supply Chain Management Solutions for over 14,000 dealerships and 50,000 repair facilities in the U.S. and Canada.
Building on this, Enright joined CardinalCommerce, reporting to the founder as a Vice President responsible for scaling the technology teams (by 300%) and the software capabilities, including the development of consumer authentication products for Merchants, Issuers, and Digital Wallet Payment providers, which led to the successful acquisition by Visa in 2017.
In 2018, Erik joined Top of Minds Networks and gained insights into the value of Marketing Automation and CRM by partnering with the CEO and founders to complete a platform migration, creating and launching new revenue streams through add-on products, and increasing customer value achieving an average of 4x loan origination increase using the Surefire Mortgage Marketing Engine.
