Bullish On Commercial Real Estate | Rakesh Jhunjhunwala At CII Real Estate Confluence 2022

Speaking at 4th Edition of CII Real Estate Confluence 2022, ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala said “Indian society is getting digitised. India ka time aa gaya hai. 50 lakh employees are going to take over in the next 5 years in IT industry. We will need houses for those 50 lakh employees.” In real estate sector it takes time to monetise the asset, RoCE of all big real estate developers is not more than 6-7%, he adds. If India has to develop then real estate sector has to develop, there has to be concentration on building affordable housing, he says.
