Cameo Brown Joins Fast Friends Beer Company
South Austin oasis adding Cameo Brown to their senior leadership team.
Cameo Brown is the latest senior leadership addition to South Austin's Fast Friends Beer Company.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Cameo, affectionately known as Cam, hails from a family of artists, creators, and community builders. She began her professional journey at Brown University graduating with a dual degree in Africana Studies and English Literature. Cameo later received a master's degree in international education from New York University and a master's degree in public policy at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Her work, which spans education, media, and entertainment, has taken her across the U.S. and around the globe. A consistent theme across all of Ms. Brown's career is service-oriented leadership.

Most recently, Cameo served her community as an early childhood educator and head bartender/manager at Bed-Vyne Brew. "I come from a background steeped in education and public service so this role is an opportunity for me to continue the important work of fostering community in the craft beer industry," said Ms. Brown. "People gathering around food and drink is at the heart of most cultures. I see my role at Fast Friends as an opportunity to help create a radically inclusive oasis in the heart of South Austin."
Cameo has traveled a path that has enabled her to build, serve, and celebrate friends and community.
