This higher-education scholarship for business forecasting and supply chain management students is open for applications at https://johngalt.com/scholarships. With the goal of supporting the next generation of supply chain leaders, John Galt Solutions awards a bi-annual $10,000 scholarship to students who demonstrate a solid commitment to their career in business forecasting or supply chain management, a great passion about supply chain, and an ongoing desire to further develop their skills. The recipients of this scholarship show strong leadership experience, community and volunteer involvement, as well as academic and personal achievements that help set them apart.

Southwestern Scale Company Inc. The move comes one week after the company announced they had opened an office in Texas.
The Phoenix-born business is in its 75th year of operation and has been a major player in the American Southwest scale industry for decades.
Mark Murdza, Chief Business Development Officer, said that Colorado expansion has been a long time coming: “We have been shipping heavy capacity scales into Colorado for decades, and we have clients that operate in both Colorado and Arizona.
